FYI - the hazard abatement map applies only to areas inspected by County of San Bernardino. In Big Bear, that includes Fawnskin, only.

Other areas, such as those managed by Big Bear Authority (the rest of the valley other than Fawnskin) do not appear on the map.

Looping back on the question kiteeatingtree had on Friday - “ Anyone have an info on the three men found dead at a campground in Fawnskin?” Because that seems like something the community should know about, and I haven’t heard a thing. Wondering if it’s true? Usually the sbsd posts a nixel alert.
