Yikes - seeing stories that Calif Fair Plan will be increasing rates around 29% later in 2026 for those in fire prone areas.

Just came down the hill the front way and there is a massive CHP presence on the 18/330, especially around the construction areas. Saw a LOT of cars pulled over and being cited in many spots. They are definitely not messing around this Memorial Day. Drive safe and slow down if you’re coming up or down the mountain.
