Holy smokes! That planned burn is driving smoke right at us in Moonridge. Not sure where else but just thought I’d caution folks. If you have any health or breathing related issues it could be a problem. Don’t get me wrong. I’m eternally grateful to our fire fighters. I just wasn’t expecting it to be so thick when we hiked this morning. I coughed my way up the trails ( and I don’t have any health issues … yet😊).

SteveG- even funnier is that it USED to say Arctic Canyon Wash!! Floods wiped it out one year and when the county reinstalled it a worker had apparently decided it should be spelled Artic. If you check the map you'll find ARCTIC Canyon Rd both in Big Bear and in Lucerne- yep, leads to that wash.
