The solar flares really seem to be doing a number on radio communications today.

@edigdawg - I'm glad you posted this. I've been wondering and it doesn't seem like the website is updating.

Looks like a small lightning strike fire near Boulder Bay. Seems like the crews got there quickly, I no longer see a smoke column.

Also wondering about the fire trucks and forest service headed towards bear lake.

Anyone know what the fire trucks down the blvd in Bear Lake are about? About a dozen so far headed west, sheriff fire and forest service.

Fire experienced no growth today. Crews to remain on scene overnight.

Effective 8:00pm:

- All evacuations lift
- National Trails Hwy open

They probably couldn’t hold a straight line with all the potholes.

Looks like they hired a drunk crew again as the last two years. Nice job CalTrans 🤦‍♂️

Shout out to the repair of our 3rd world road conditions, oh, my bad, still the same garbage, never mind. At least we have repainted lines on some of the road. Ok, done for now...
