DD- those storms in the 80s were something else! Part of the reason why we have big 4x's with snow tires- no more digging out at our age! We just drive over or through them!

Since we stayed off the hill for "Snowmageddon", I haven't had to clear this much snow in quite some time. This is just like storms which were common way back when. Good thing I have kept up on my snowthrower maintenance. Nevertheless, this old body will take a beating today while I dig us out. I hope that everyone stays safe and comfortable.

Wow. Just wow. Wind gusts around 80-90mph out east here - all night. Snow packing the windows so we can only see a small portion of the property. Dogs REFUSE to go out even with jackets on. (Smart dogs! ) Drifts about 4 ft tall since i can't see fences! Hope Lucerne enjoys the snow that's blowing down to them!
