Poor san g cam was snowed over too...

We lost our Cams and Scanner Live Feeds at the top of Goldmine Mountain at about 10:45am or so.... Something went awry!

Ive had verizon for ten years at least, first outage for me, theyre always rock solid...

Verizon seems to be down, anybody else? No phone, no data but i can text. On wifi now...

Does anyone use an Ecoflow battery/solar based generator? Wondering what your experience is with it up here on the mountain. Thanks!

we do stream a lot on starlink but just one device at a time usually and it seems to work fine I'm not sure if its the same speed here in the US but we pay for the slowest service.

Starlink's a great alternative if you just need it for basic internet and email. Not great if you stream a lot of shows/movies or gaming. The latency isn't as fast as copper or fiber. But it seems to be improving every day. A great option.

Can anyone recommend snow removal services? I looked in classified did not see anything and the guy we have used for years we can’t reach. Thx for any help!

Trail Rider, while we don't have Starlink, our son who lives in Lahaina, Hi used Starlink to communicate with us during the 2023 fire. They are located in an open area of west Maui. At the same time, people in the upcountry (mountain area) of east Maui could only communicate via Starlink or ham radio.
