⚡WX ALERT⚡50 second(s) ago ❄️❄️NEW WEATHER ALERT ❄️❄️ A Winter Weather Advisory is now in effect across the San Bernardino Mountains for elevations above 6,000 feet through 10:00 PM Tuesday. A fast-moving cold front will push through the region this evening, followed by wrap-around moisture as low pressure moves through the area on Tuesday.
This will result in accumulating snowfall down to 5,000 feet, with accumulations of 3-6 inches expected above 6,000 feet. This includes many mountain communities, such as Big Bear, Running Springs, and Wrightwood, etc.
Travelers should be prepared for winter weather driving conditions. Always plan ahead, pack extra food, water, blankets/warm clothing, and carry tire chains at all times! This storm will exit the region Tuesday night into Wednesday, but more unsettled weather could arrive later this week!
