Just a friendly reminder because of the of the pellet stove smoke call below. It's always good to get you flue cleaned and the cap on top taken off and blown out with compressed air. Near the end of fireplace season last spring I was getting some smoke out of the Lopi insert and had my flue relind 6 moths before. The new chimney cap was clogged. Hot Shot Chimney Sweeps cleaned it and did the full clearing. Fast and reasonable. I have an odd arrangement and had to rent a scissor lift from Twin Bear. So fare so good.
