What the latest snow amount? How much do we have so far this year?

SCM out of curiosity, about how much (roughly). What is the latency like? Say there's one of those 5s spaz's... does it kick on just to turn back off, or does it kick if an outage is 30s or longer. Do you still use a UPS for sensitive equipment? Propane or natural gas?

Drove up hwy 18 from Lucerne about an hour ago around 415. No problem at all, road almost dry the whole way. Be safe though when it gets dark and some of the water freezes again.

Agreed Bosun! got a whole house gen back on 2011 and its paid itself back many times over! not to mention reduced stress.

Regarding power outages, we all know as long timers in BB, there's one thing all homeowners must have. A GENERATOR! What a novel idea. Bought mine 22 years ago and has been great. No more worries.

WX alert. My sincere apologies for not seeing your post. There were only a few homes near me that were affected by the power outage and they came up later last night and made a repair for just us few. I was grateful to have power again after spending a ridiculous amount of money on fuel for three days in my Generator.

Came from erwin west, highway isnt bad. Traffic is another story. Jeep in 4wd is getting me around easily.

@ekeith it wasn’t the big rigs that were stuck. It was a BMW that got stuck. We were right behind the big rigs and a Caltrans truck was behind the BMW. After about 30 minutes, my husband in the Caltrans driver were able to get her moving along.
