Thanks Marty and Spectr. Caltrans says that 38 will remain open 24 hours a day through Sunday 1/11. Starting Mon 1/12 they will start the daytime closure.

The west CP has been just above Angelus Oaks by that big turnout by middle control rd.

The east CP was west of jenks lake rd west.

It seems Calltrans may have modified their Facebook post regarding the status of the 38.

As of today, Caltrans' Facebook post (dated December 22nd) announcing the opening of the 38 has this statement at the bottom, without ANY closure hours:

"Closure details after the moratorium: Work is planned to resume shortly, but the route will continue to remain open until further notice."
