Theres 38 spots in the new parking lot

If you add up all the previous spots that people used to park at for castle rock trailhead, and see that they are now no parking areas, I count more than 30 parkable spots. How many spots does the new parking lot, with one narrow entrance that I saw yesterday creating a traffic snarlup have?

Is the total number of spots now less? If so, who approved this? Why not at least leave all the parking on the south side of the highway, as then people don't cross the hwy, and safety is preserved

I believe State Farm is not issuing ANY new policies in Ca.

It appears State Farm is not issuing any new policies for the Big Bear area.

Good morning all. Yesterday sure was one of those "great weather days" in Big Bear. We had to make a quick day trip to our place and could not believe how many people were up! All around the lake, over at the Oktoberfest and according to our neighbor in town. I hope they were spending some money. Have a great day!

HIB- I'm looking into it further. A Montana friend was telling me about theirs and soon thereafter I was chatting with someone in WY who said they have the same. Some kind of "magic eye" trigger I'm guessing? Ring camera type set up maybe?

Nice fix at the Castle Rock Trailhead. Now we have just a full traffic jam on a blind corner. So instead of people trying to just cross the road, we have vehicles parked in the highway and people wandering around looking up at the waiting line for parking. Good fix 👍🤦‍♂️
